I’m a senior director of digital strategy, graphic designer and art director who lives in Philly and formerly Brooklyn and LA. The first concert I attended was a Beatles cover band called Beatlemania.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in magazine journalism from San Jose State University, a Master of Science in publishing from Pace University, a certificate in executive leadership from the American Association of Advertising Agencies and a certificate in design communication arts from UCLA Extension.

I am a creative graphic designer and art director. I also bring a background in digital content, growth and marketing. With more than 17 years of experience, I have led and managed record-breaking marketing, communications, design and technology teams and vendors on both U.S. coasts and led clients to making millions of dollars during tough, economic times.

I incorporate my creative vision and my unique background in music journalism and love for vintage fashion and design into everything I do. So much so, that I had a David Bowie themed vow renewal and reception.

My love for building engaging websites began long ago when a website I made for British rock band Oasis in high school was featured in a special edition of Q magazine. I taught myself to code before the days of WordPress. I even interviewed the clever lead singers of bands The Kooks and The Klaxons when working in music journalism.

I envision creative concepts and lead creative teams in graphic design projects such as printed newsletters to revenue-driving email blasts. While at East Bay SPCA, I managed photographers, designers and copy editors as the head of the organization’s marketing and digital fundraising initiatives.

While heading communications at the Institute for Nonprofit News, I oversaw the redesign of its learning website for the nonprofit news community, managing editors, communications staff and technologists. I also led the organization through its first rebrand in more than four years. I even collaborated with designers and served as the producer on the industry’s first INN Index publication, a study on the state of the nonprofit news industry.

I combined my love for visual design with my technical skills at Stand Up To Cancer, a division of the Entertainment Industry Foundation in Los Angeles, California, which works directly with some of Hollywood’s best A-list talent, to create high-end donation pages that raise money for cancer research. I also helped the organization with its technology stack to optimize donor revenue and create better processes and workflow for staff.

I enjoy collaborating with creatives too! I recently helped nonprofit healthcare and international relief clients with their digital strategy plans for donor acquisition, retention and cultivation as a senior digital strategist with TrueSense Marketing, an agency based in Pittsburgh, PA. I worked with an amazing team of creatives, data analysts, account management and global strategists to make the magic happen with digital insights and donor experience recommendations.

Then, I worked at Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), helping the organization with digital fundraising and marketing growth against goals on the Creative Marketing team, collaborating with creatives on bringing campaigns to life and success. Accomplishments included grossing its best #GivingTuesday ever, reaching more than $200k in gross revenue.

I most recently help international relief clients at agency Blue State, such as Doctors Without Borders/MSF and Oxfam America, with their digital fundraising strategies, finding insights, creating quarterly growth plans, providing rapid response guidance and working with account and creative directors on bringing campaigns to life to grow digital revenue.

Today, I can be found leading and managing a team at agency Moore Digital creating record-breaking fundraising initiatives for one of the agency’s top clients while growing digital business and providing best in class client service. Accomplishments include leading team to highest grossing revenue year for Wounded Warrior Project and achieving the most gross revenue for its Giving Tuesday campaign ever.

When I’m not busy with my creative endeavors, I love caring for my adopted shelter pets, taking photos, attending wild concerts and shopping for vintage clothing from the 1960s.
